Erin Hiemstra is a woman of taste, with a mission. A mission to live a “styled life”, which is how inspiration and beauty has become her business. Erin has 55 very beautiful boards on Pinterest, shares her tips at Apartment 34, and was recently interviewed by Pinterest. Her insights into style and taste, and her prolific blogging and pinning, has led to work with all kind of clients, like Lucky Magazine and Refinery29.
Erin was able to combine her passion for style with her experience working for Senators, nonprofits and PR firms in Washington DC, into working as a freelance digital marketing consultant for lifestyle brands. Apartment 34 is where she gets to “share what’s got my motor running with readers on a daily basis.”
When Pinterest asked about how Erin defines her style she replied, “Quite succinctly: casually sophisticated, hopefully timeless and always high-heeled.” There is beauty even in her words, never mind pin boards.
As far as her own Pinspiration is concerned Erin finds herself repinning the likes of Kimberly of Eat.Sleep.Wear’s finds. “Glitter Guide also has a stellar eye as does Kate Arends of Wit & Delight, Elise of Pennyweight and Arlene Matthews of Kit This,” she told Pinterest in an interview. Equally blogs from Australia and Scandinavia are sources of inspiration for her own website and pinboards.
Erin is a great example of Pinterest being used both as a means to promote an individual, the brands she works with, and as a source of ideas. Happy pinning people!
